Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins Wins Best Feature Film at the Marbella Film Festival


On the 11th September 2021, Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins premiered in Marbella, with Director and co-writer Nick Nevern, producer and fellow co-writer Andrew Loveday and actor and producer Terry Stone attending. The afterparty was held at the Tibu club in Malaga, Marbella where the cast, crew and ticket buyers enjoyed a fun night of music, booze and cheer.

Further more, at the Marbella Film Festival (MIFF), on the 12th September, Terry Stone won Best Actor for his performance in the film as Tony Tucker. In this prequel, Tucker returns from the Falklands War a bitter and angry man and soon makes a name for himself in the Essex underworld with his security business and drug dealing. Nick Nevern walked home with the trophy for Best Feature Film! Nevern, Stone and Loveday were all thrilled at the success of the film, and had an eventful night at the awards.
